well i just got my assignment. after tech school im going to Lakenheath Royal Air Force base in England. not even closed to what i picked but eh... it should be alright. Lakenheath is a forward location for the war in Iraq which means ill probably be deploying soon and often but i really dont care. im schedualed to get the piss outta here on june 16 but my new civilian-never-taught-this-class-before-instructor wants us to graduate 2 weeks early so... lets see.

i swear sheppard just keeps on getting worse and worse. everyday i get it rubbed in my face that im a stupid worthless and childish student whos the lowest on the food chain. i have a civilian (non military veteran) instructer -yes that bothers me just by itself- who used to teach 8th grade and she still thinks thats what shes teaching. someone in my class today to the word "shit" and now has to write a page essay on what it means to have respect. its not the fact that he has to write an essay - its the concept of the whole thing. i think we in the military are mature enough to handle the word "shit." nobody really respects us just because we are students. some random old fat civilian lady came up to me and yelled at me because i was off the route of march (where we are aloud to march) we are suppose to have route of march cards that tell us where we can march but i was never issued one and i told her that. so she calls up my MTL and crys about it like im some little kid. i dont really know how much trouble im in yet tho. schools getting harder and everything sucks. i cant wait until i get out of tech school and get into the operational(real) air force so i wont be treated like a little child. i got until about early june until i get the fuck outta here and man - i gotta get the fuck outta here.

so i finally got out of that gay ass EP class and got a good deal of college hours. the last few blocks were kinda gay... i know how to interpet bianary and hexadary code and gay ass shit like that and how radio frequencies work - how exciting. and now im at sheppard.

the MTLs (our teacher/supervisor/whatever you wanna call em higher ranking people) are extremely strict compared to keeslar and treat us almost sub human here and they hate us -and began to yell at us - just because were from keeslar - because keeslar sucks and they failed us. im not aloud to wear my sweatshirt that says keeslar. they get pissed when we say the word "keeslar". "its a curse word." and ever so often we get yelled at basic training style with the spit in the face and what not. they pass out punishments like day one phase one and LOCs(not good) like candy. only candy is good so lets say they pass them out like steamy piles of poop.

i got put into the oldest dorm on base from like the 60's. we have community bathrooms and showers and there are a lot of cock-roaches(how the hell do you spell that) running around and its not too uncommon to see a rat. sometimes we dont have hot water and everything is falling apart. these dorms are probably worse than your average army dorms. i havent even started school yet and i have no idea when im starting so as far as i know ill be on details (cleaning 8 hours a day) for a month. the one good thing about this place is that we actually have a BX and commissary(like a walmart supercenter) and thats about it. - well the food is a small step up. this place really reminds me how much i gave up when i joined the military.
by typing all this i really cant explain about how much this place sucks. - you kinda just gotta be here to know what i mean. so however much it sounds like it sucks to you, multiply that a good 3-5 times and there ya go.
id rather go to BMT again for 7 weeks rather than be here for over 4 months.

so i had a fun christmas break and it was awesome to see everyone again - all the old gang and even one or two i wasnt expecting to see... and of coarse the family...
but now its back to school to learn and all that good stuff. back to my duty. back to serving my country. back to life. back to reality. back to my real family - the united states air force! back to waking up at 0400 and doin homework until 2300. back to rules and regulations. back to life as an Airman.
